The 2017 National Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) Conference and Expo brought over 20,000 HR professionals and their guest to the New Orleans area. Not one to miss out on a chance to showcase their talent in their own backyard, Netchex stepped up with a unique voodoo shack booth to demonstrate a special theme, “HCM So Powerful It Must Be Magic.”
The booth featured a realistic voodoo shack complete with zydeco music, an HCM voodoo altar, and the pièce de résistance – actual French Quarter psychics giving 5-minute tarot card readings. Netchex’s design team focused on every detail to make the entire experience one-of-a-kind complete with custom HR related voodoo labels, fun “gris-gris” tote bags, and authentic “bayou” artifacts throughout the booth.
Prior to the expo, Netchex teased the fun and magic of the experience with interactive social media, postcards and emails- all with the show’s #SHRM17. Attendees enjoyed the pre-show marketing efforts so much that many stopped by the booth saying that they simply had to see more of Netchex.
Never ones to stop at mere amazement, Netchex also enticed attendees with giveaways of their “NOLA Magic Pack.” Each magic pack featured food/beverage items from Netchex’s New Orleans-based clients along with a special magic-themed case study and tarot card testimonials. Attendees could win the custom prize packs by having their badge scanned and by taking a selfie by the booth with the hashtag #NetchexMagic.
Thousands of attendees and exhibitors from over 20 countries visited the Netchex booth to marvel at the creativity, learn their fortune, register for a prize pack, and of course, learn more about the Netchex Simply Powerful HCM technology.
