It’s been a rewarding and award-winning summer here at Netchex. First, we were recognized by not just one, but two independent, user review-based websites—Capterra and G2 Crowd—for our outstanding customer service.
But those are not only the awards that Netchex has racked up lately. Earlier this summer, it was announced that Netchex has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2019 honor by The Times-Picayune.
“We love and value our employees above all else,” said Will Boudreaux, Founder and CEO of Netchex. “We strive to create an inclusive environment that promotes hard work and growth, but we also know how to kick back and have to have a lot of fun at the end of the day.”
Recognizing only 55 local companies and organizations, the Top Workplaces honor is awarded based solely on feedback about the workplace completed by the employees. A short, anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, engagement, and more. The employee feedback is gathered through a third-party survey administered by Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools.
“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”
To be eligible for nomination, businesses must have at least 35 employees and be based in one of the seven parishes in the New Orleans metro area: Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, or St. Tammany. Over 500 employers from the public, private, non-profit, and governmental sectors in the region were invited to take part in the employee survey.
There is no cost to enter the Top Workplaces program, so the winners are based exclusively on the objective, science-based assessment filled out by employees—not sponsorships or advertisements bought by the company.
“Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy,” Claffey continues. “It’s an achievement organizations have worked for and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage. It’s a big deal.”
