Netchex named to LSU 100 for fourth year in a row

August 19, 2015

For the fourth year in a row, Netchex has been named to the prestigious LSU 100 list of fastest-growing, privately owned companies founded by former Tigers.

“We’re honored to once again be recognized by our alma mater for our company’s achievements,” said Will Boudreaux, Netchex CEO. “It’s a testament to the education we received at LSU, to our company’s unwavering commitment to quality and to the promise of success to those who are willing to work hard to pursue their passion.”

Organized by the Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute in the E.J. Ourso College of Business, the LSU 100 is a highly competitive program that identifies, recognizes and celebrates the 100 fastest growing Tiger-owned or Tiger-led businesses in the world. In addition to celebrating the success of the honorees, the LSU 100 provides a forum to pass lessons on to the next generation of LSU entrepreneurs.

Companies honored must meet the following criteria:
  • Must have been in business for five years or more
  • Must have verifiable revenues of at least $100,000 in 2011, 2012 and 2013
  • Must have a former LSU student as owner of at least 50 percent of the company, as an active founder, or as chief executive officer, president or managing partner
  • Must operate in a manner consistent with the mission of LSU and SEI

Netchex was founded in 2003 by friends, business partners and LSU alumni Boudreaux and Stuart Ethridge. Now in its 12th year of business, Netchex has more than $13 million in revenue, 120 employees and offices in four states.

“Now in its fifth year, the LSU 100 has grown to encompass some of the most accomplished people and organizations in business today,” said Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute Interim Director Robin Kistler. “This is a huge testament to the quality and far-reaching capacity of LSU alumni who are generating jobs for others, growing the economy and making a difference in their communities.”

The 2015 list features 19 companies new to the LSU 100, and 14 who have been included every year since its inception in 2011. The ranking of company growth is kept confidential until the honoree luncheon, scheduled for Oct. 23 at L’Auberge Casino Hotel in Baton Rouge.
