Netchex, a best-in-technology Human Capital Management solution, held its sixth annual client conference, Netconnect, at the Ernest Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana on October 26, 2017. Netconnect brings hundreds of Netchex clients, partners, and team members together for an entire day and night of education and celebration.
“This event is the exciting culmination of a tremendous amount of hard work from dozens of members of the Netchex team,” said CEO Will Boudreaux. “It’s our favorite event that we do – getting to interact with that many clients and partners over a full day, offering them a level of training that we can’t offer anywhere else, and seeing the comradery between so many members of the Netchex family, makes it all more than worth it.”
This year’s Netconnect theme was “Escape the Ordinary” (and be extraordinary) with a whimsical and magical Alice in Wonderland theme. The event began with a theatrical themed performance, included educational “Tea Party Hangouts”, a never-ending candy table, and finished the night with dancing at The Masquerade Ball inside of Harrah’s Casino, it was certainly far from ordinary.
“Overall, the conference was great!” said Chiquita Coston, of the Diocese of Baton Rouge Child Nutrition Program. “It was my first year attending, and the information that was provided in the sessions was excellent. It appears that NetChex truly cares about their clients, which was evident in this NetConnect Conference. Thanks for a wonderful day and for making me feel like a kid again with the theme: Wonderland!”
Attendees were able to learn about new product releases and exciting partnerships, and obtain crucial CE credits through industry-leading speakers. With over 60 lectures addressing today’s key business challenges, conference sessions included Don’t Go Mad Hatter During Open Enrollment, Carrier Communications: Don’t Chase the White Rabbit, and Top Reports: Peer Through the Looking Glass. This year’s keynote speaker, Adam Christing, was anything but ordinary and motivated everyone to be “Empowered” through laughter and magic.
“It was an excellent event,” said Bobby Ettinger, of Vali Cooper International. “I got a lot out of the sessions and learned a great deal. I loved the keynote speaker.”
But perhaps the highlight for Netchex staff and clients alike is finally aligning a voice with a face. Netconnect allows users to meet the Netchex team – from the CEO to their very own service team – and engage in a way not possible anywhere else.
“It was a great experience,” said Joycelyn Lamothe, of Citizens Bank and Trust. “Really glad we got to meet the folks we talk to on the phone all the time!”
